“Austin reviews CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2!!!” finds reviewer Austin Kennedy gushing into personal nostalgia shared on paper. From the start, Austin reminisces about his past love of the first “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” with all the ardent adoration of a true animation fan.

He delves into the once beloved father/son relationship he enjoyed so thoroughly and in comparison, was left unsatisfied the second time around. Upon passing the immense outpouring of absolute sensational extended summary, the reader is allowed into the inner most depths of Kennedy’s soul.

If the reader wanted to know Kennedy’s exact emotional experience, it is all here in explicit detail. He even includes his loved ones’ reactions in order to give his readers a variety of emotional connections. What he loved, what he wished for, what he had hoped it would all culminate to mean and be.

This review is the essence of fluff, wrapping its readers in everything except actual analysis. The presentation of this fluff was minimal and lacked creativity. And the conclusion of this piece left the reader rather bewildered.

With all the outpouring of affection from Kennedy on every aspect of the film that he loved, the rating he provides of a 2 ½ star film seems out of place. This review is full of the personal touch, but is unlikely to appeal to all but the most undiscerning readers.
