Obscene length aside, Gabe Toro’s review of Kick Ass 2, “Review: ‘Kick-Ass 2’ Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Jim Carrey, Christopher Mintz-Plasse + More” is never long winded or meandering, except in its title. It is an evenly paced and thorough work that deliberately guides you through each of the outstanding issues that our critic takes up with the film.

By the end of the review you will still be able to enjoy the film if you still choose to go see it, however, if you still want to go see the film after reading this review chances are you are likely a fan of the source material, in which case spoilers are irrelevant to you.

Toro pleads his case and uses multiple exhibits, cites plenty of sources, and backs up his claims with evidence. In other words he basically took this movie to trial and beat it on its terms. Though the movie still gets a passing grade it is just barely crosses the threshold of average.

If you don’t like the act of reading then don’t read this review. If you aren’t scared of a little commitment then you will find that this is enjoyable review is worth checking out.
