Bill Gibron’s “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2” Is to the Point

In response to Bill Gibron’s 626‑word review of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on Film Racket

By ,

Bill Gibron’s pun-less write up ” Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” takes the not so traveled serious route and  in doing so gives potential viewers plenty to think about before they head out to their local cineplex.

In a refreshing spin, it appears that Bill Gibron has spared us from the gastronomically inclined humor that the scad of reviewers out there felt compelled to use when reviewing this film. And with a straight face Gibron jumps feet first into this children’s comedy, and actually provides some insight.

The writing  isn’t overblown or technical to the point that readers will get lost. It’s crisp and narrowly focused on the film, and provides the audience with little or no diversions.

Speaking of narrowly focused, Gibron starts his argument and finishes the review on the same note never throwing away his central thesis, nor does  he  get lost in the other issues. By doing this, Gibron has insured that everything fits nicely into place by the review’s conclusion.

As far a presentation goes, the site is simply a marvel to behold. There is a genuine sense that the website is centrally focused upon the medium of film, as you can view trailers, see top box office performers,  and read other reviews.

There are some readers that might figure  out the finale of the film prior to seeing it based on some of Gibron’s details. Proceed through the second to last paragraph with caution.

For a break from food puns, Meatballs 2 will provide that needed escape.
