Jordan Hoffman’s “Cloudy Review” Intrigues Through Exuberancy

In response to Jordan Hoffman’s 360‑word review of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on New York Daily News

The latest careful crafting by master chef of words Jordan Hoffman, “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs,’ movie review”,  is an experience to be savored.

Chance of Meatballs starts off a bit shakily with a title that fails to identify the film as a sequel. It’s a forgivable error, however the review connoisseur may ask for the check before getting a chance to ring up much of a tab.

Hoffman moves on with pristine poise, sprinkling gentle words on the reader and making an undeniably relevant and outstanding comparison to another contemporary animated film. Sit back and enjoy, this is criticism at its most delicious.

Hoffman’s argument is made with passionate prose, and the reader will be inspired by the feeling emitted by the radiant words.

Plot description is not a major concern in Chance of Meatballs, however Hoffman conveys a feeling of excitement through crisp sentences and memorable phrases. One will most likely be reminded of Hemingway’s Nick Adams as Hoffman offers insight on this two-hearted river of sweetness.

The final potent paragraph takes a pause for reflection. Hoffman understands the motivation of the film and his analysis is rich. His ability to convey his information to his audience is uncanny.

Chance of Meatballs is an extremely enjoyable experience, sure to please both young and old.
