Leonard Maltin walks the walk, but refuses to talk the talk in “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2.” Loyal readers of the critic have nothing to gain from this disappointing review, and will be offended by the lack of effort.

Visually, the presentation of Chance Of Meatballs is beautiful with a large picture that is pleasing to the eye. One would expect the review to be equally pleasing, however this is sadly not the case.

Chance Of Meatballs opens with a sturdy opening paragraph, and the polarizing commentary will intrigue the reader. One will be curious to see where the great leader Maltin shall lead them, however the reader surely could not have predicted that they would be completely abandoned with nothing to eat.

The plot description of Chance Of Meatballs is lazy and uninspired. The prose fails to engage the reader and expand on the opening paragraph that had so much potential. The critic is clearly disappointed with the film, and as a result, conveys little information to the reader.

The final thin paragraphs of Chance Of Meatballs are beyond frustrating. Maltin states, “I reckon that many audience members would have a hard time filling out an exit quiz asking what the movie is about,” and the critic himself must certainly feel the same way, as he offers little insight to his innocent and loyal readers.
