There are times in life when one prepares for an event, and ultimately realizes that there is nothing to see once they arrive. The excruciating review from Jolene Mendez, “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Movie Revew,” is one of those moments. The reader will surely be stunned.

Chance Of Meatballs could have been improved with the appearance of a personal opinion in the first 234 words. Instead, the cautious reader may feel that the opinion of Jolene Mendez is the Keyser Soze of film reviews. Where is the opinion? One will spend time reading the words of the critic, and then be overcome with terror by the idea that a real review escaped their grasp.

The general appearance of Chance of Meatballs is appealing, but it is all an illusion. There is almost nothing offered by Jolene Mendez. The first three paragraphs describe the general premise of the film, lacking any personal commentary from the critic, or even style, for that matter.

In the final devastating paragraph of Chance of Meatballs, Mendez essentially tells the reader that the film tries to capture their attention, which is one of few sentences of personal commentary that Mendez offers to the heartbroken reader.

And just like that—(poof)—the opinion is gone. For a review that never gets off the ground, the fact that it can crash and burn at all is noteworthy.
