Cathy Jakicic will make readers frown with her lack of originality or imagination in the dreadful “Original fun in forecast for Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. “

The black and yellow background of Fun In Forecast will appeal to youngsters familiar with “Black and Yellow” by Wiz Khalifa, and the grand image header is absolutely stunning. Sadly, the visuals are the best part of the review.

Fun In Forecast opens up with a brief commentary about the creation of the sequel, but offers little for one to contemplate. The critic moves on with a crisp sentence that captures her overall sentiments, but it’s clear by this point that Jakicic won’t be providing any beefy thoughts on the dynamic foodimals or cast.

One will be hurt by Fun In Forecast because there is almost nothing to enjoy. Never once does Jakicic mention the directors by name, and only briefly refers to the cast by noting that they are indeed in the film. If one is expecting a single thought of analysis then they should look elsewhere.

The most troubling part of Fun In Forecast is the odd way in which the critic concludes the review. Jakicic devotes the final paragraph to Neil Patrick Harris, and manages to reference both Neil Diamond and Neil Armstrong. It’s a head-scratching way to end a review.

Fun In Forecast will puzzle readers, and make one question the purpose of the review. In the end, it’s better avoided.
