S. Jhoanna Robledo Pleases With the Parental “Dark World”

In response to S. Jhoanna Robledo’s 513‑word review of Thor: The Dark World on Common Sense Media

By ,

S. Jhoanna Robledo has a small victory with her latest review for parents, “Thor: The Dark World.” The critic obviously knows how to look after her audience, but her powerful critique, although brief, shows potential for more substantial works.

In the opening section of Dark World, Robledo details all the violent realities of the film, and watches out for her parents with honor. Some may be frightened to learn of stabbing and shooting, but the critic eases the mind by noting that little blood is actually seen. The most cynical of parents will likely smile and re-position in their seat with a newfound sense of relaxation.

Dark World rates several categories as Common Sense Media always does with each review, and one should not  take the section for granted. Valuable information can be found, but some may feel the urge to rush on to the next paragraph. Be patient, gentle reader, and appreciate the whole work.

Robledo’s critique in Dark World is quite good. She gets to the point and proves to be a great visionary mind through her insightful comments. The critic is not fooled by the flimsy backstory, and writes with fair but hefty words. Robledo looks after her audience with a brief analysis, but let’s hope the critic chooses to offer more critique in the future.

Dark World is a success due to Robledo’s ability to convey the essentials for her demographic.
