Initially, readers will be impressed by how refreshingly original Teddy Durgin’s “Kick-Ass 2“ is organized. The presentation of the review is tailored to meet the various needs of each individual reader.

It serves the needs of the “fly-by” reader, who wants less than two sentences to determine the quality of a film.  These visitors will find great pleasure in its “quick take” section.

It also gives ample amounts of plot summary for the “slightly interested” reader, with several paragraphs of detailed character outlining and average retelling of a story arc located in the “plot” section.

And finally, for all those “definitely determined” readers who want all the information possible on the film, with a thrown in opinion, this review happily offered its not so happy rating of 6. 5 out of 10.

This rating section is longer than the previously mentioned ones, and is well worth the read.  Durgin speaks with validity and candor, giving the reader an honest feel about the film as a whole.  Durgin builds a level of trust with his levelheaded analysis that never seems to spill over the top with salacious slander or hyperbole.

Durgin has created a review for the “everyman” with sections for the quick glance or elongated readings, making this piece one to value.
