Eric Eisenberg covers the basics in “Movie Review Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2,” and provides the reader with a generic overview found in most reviews.

The visual appearance of Meatballs 2 will not excite the mind, but is not horrible either. The display is highlighted by a hilarious photo, however little else is offered as far as presentation is concerned.

Meatballs 2 is an acceptable meal with four rich paragraphs of fresh writing. The critic begins with a sturdy open, offers a thin take and conveys the general sense of the film by exploring the plot, characters and humor of the film. Unfortunately, the words of Eisenberg fail to explore the deeper effect that one may experience, and touches on character analysis only briefly. It is the equivalent of a fast-food drive-thru and failing to remember the fries.

There is an audience that surely will appreciate Meatballs 2. Eisenberg is effective in transitioning from point to point, and expressing why certain themes work, however the hardcore fan will demand more.

Meatballs 2 is well-written and shows care for the common reader, however the content comes across as boring  and dull. In the plot summary, the critic had the potential to expand on the characters by injecting energy into the piece, but instead left the audience with a rather cookie-cutter offering.
